During today's event we also managed to get some quick hands-on time with the GSmart S1200 running Windows Mobile 6.5 and although this handset launched some time ago, owners of the S1200 with Windows Mobile 6.1 will be able to upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.5 free of charge.

The GSmart S1200 features a 528MHz Qualcomm 7200A processor, 288MB of RAM, 512MB of ROM, a 3.1-inch touch screen display with WVGA resolution (800x480 pixels), 802.11b/g WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR and a 3 Megapixel camera with auto focus.

The GSmart S1200 is a quad band GSM handset which also operates on the 900 and 2,100MHz 3G bands with HSDPA and HSUPA support.
