For NACFE to conduct Guidance Reports on future technologies, the applied sciences should be shifting from the lab into the real world, including an illustration of an acceptable payback for fleets to undertake, but with many unknown questions nonetheless needing answers. They may be developed by new firms, both startups or firms from adjacent industries, or by more traditional commercial-car manufacturers or suppliers. NACFE has decided to construct on the work that we’ve done in scaling out there technologies and selling rising technologies, to now work on guiding future expertise options. Available applied sciences are people who an end user can buy or easily add to their new tools. NACFE defines rising technologies as those that are evolutionary or incremental in nature.
